Gerard M. Williams grew up in a rich heritage of music in North Carolina. A performer with the Spotlight Cabaret singers, A Brightleaf Music Scholar singing choral, classical, jazz and gospel brought him to further his music education at Berklee College of Music and singing abroad. Performing in various musical productions lead to winning numerous singing and acting awards, a Broadway World Regional Nomination for Best Actor in a Musical and Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

Gerard has shared the stage with some of the greatest talents in the industry, which opened many doors to share his gift with the world. As a songwriter Gerard has lifted the spirits of many and inspired others  with his first album “Joy Cometh” purchased and streamed worldwide.

Gerard Served  as music administrator and worship leader at The River Church in Durham NC. Cast in the Broadway National tour of The Color Purple, first national tour of The Lincoln Centers My Fair Lady. and STEM the musical. Past Shows include Oh What a Holy Night, Ragtime, The Scottsboro Boys, Soul Man, A Motown Christmas, Tom and Huck, Dreamgirls, Memphis, Annie, Slappin GOD in the face, Black Nativity, Zuccotti Park, Jesus Christ Superstar Assassins, The Marriage, Sister Act. TV appearance on CW’s The Originals, featured on 2019 soundtrack of Movie, Canal Street , Pilot episode with Robert Townsend and a Celebrity Cruises Singer.
